今日は、ランチに新丸子から徒歩５分の「Kerala Kitchen」にお邪魔してきました。
早速、レビューしたいと思います。
「ケララキッチン」とは？
2020年11月にオープンした、インドのケララ州出身のシェフがもてなす本場のケララ料理が楽しめるお店。約40種類のスパイスをアーユルベーダの知識を活かし料理に合わせ作るビリヤニやミールスが人気だそうです。温かみのある素焼きのオリジナル食器で提供するのも魅力の１つ。
インド式炊き込みご飯「ビリヤニ」を実食！お味は？
店舗はとても清潔感のあるお店で、女性一人でも入りやすい雰囲気です。
今日、私が食べたのは、ケララキッチンスペシャルメニューの「タラシェリ ダム ビリヤニ（￥1200-）」。インドで一番有名なタンシェリ地方のビリヤニで、スパイシーなチキン入っています。
待つこと５分。壺のような入れ物で登場！
お店名「Kerala Kichen 」が蓋に入っていて可愛いです！
蓋を開けて見ると、白いご飯！？日本の炊き込みご飯を彷彿させます。
ヨーグルトと辛い香辛料とパリパリしたおせんべいみたいなものを混ぜながら食べるそう！中には、大きな骨つきチキンが入っていました。
見た目は日本風の炊き込みご飯に似ていますが、味はしっかり南インド。スパイシーだけど、優しい味です。

投稿を見ると、ビリヤニも人気ですが、南インド料理で使われるバナナの皮に乗せた「ミールス」や包んで蒸した料理が気になります！
飲み物もめちゃめちゃスパイスが効いているみたいなので試してみたいですね。
